Geraldine (Dee) and families would like to thank all the kind relatives and friends who sent letters, cards, and many phone calls offering condolences and sympathy with the loss of Mike. It has been overwhelming. We would like to express our appreciation in particular to Dr Matt Doyle and Dr Michael Bailey from Indigo House for their dedicated care to Mike throughout his illness. Our grateful thanks also go to the professional and most loving Palm Springs Carers for the kind and considerate way they looked after Mike and ourselves during such a difficult time. To a very special friend and neighbour, Jean Carrel and family, for all the love, help and support that she has given to Mike and ourselves over many years. To all those who attended the Crematorium and to the celebrant Mr David Lister for leading the funeral service and speaking such kind words of Mike’s life, we are eternally grateful. Passed away peacefully with his son Martin by his side, at the Jersey General Hospital on Thursday, 24 November, 2016, devoted friend of Celina. George will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
