Passed away peacefully at Hospice Care with her family at her bedside on Friday, 14 October, 2016 aged 59 years, adored wife of Peter, devoted mother of Ben and Gabriel and much-loved sister of Katy. She has left us far too soon, but she touched the hearts of all who knew her and found the happiness she deserved in the last three years of her life.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Caroline are invited to St Brelade’s Parish Church, on Friday, 28 October at 11 am, followed by a private committal. Our beautiful Suzy passed away unexpectedly on Monday, 17 October, 2016, at the Jersey General Hospital aged 45 years, a loving daughter, sister and partner for ever in our hearts. What is dying?I am standing on the seashore, a ship sails in the morning breeze and starts for the ocean. She is an object of beauty and I stand watching her till at last she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says: ‘She has gone’. Gone!Where?Gone from my sight that is all. She is just as large in the masts, hull and spars as she was when I last saw her, and just as able to bear her load of living freight to its destination. The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in her, and just at the moment when someone at my side says, ‘she is gone’ there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout: ‘There she comes!’ and that is dying. Saturday, 22 October, 2016 aged 78. Passed away peacefully after a short illness, much-loved brother of Roy, dear brother-in-law of Valerie and dearest uncle of Jason and Jeremy. A brave man to the end, will be so sadly missed.
