MISSON, Esmé Angela

Following the very sad loss of Esmé, our dear Mum, Gran and great-Gran, we would like to thank everyone who attended her funeral service at St Lawrence Parish Church. Thank you to Rector Phil Warren, organist Winston Le Brun, members of the Funeral Choir and the St Lawrence Honorary Police. We were overwhelmed by the many cards and letters of condolence that we received and we thank you all for taking the time to share with us your memories of Mum. Having suffered a severe stroke on 7 October 2015, Mum was cared for by staff at the General Hospital and then afterwards at Silver Springs Nursing Home. Thanks to them and to Dr Simon Thompson for what they did for her and us during that difficult time. Mum’s final days were spent in the dedicated and compassionate care of the staff on Plémont Ward at the General Hospital. We are grateful for, and will never forget, the kindness that was shown to her and the comfort it gave to us all. Finally, thank you to Nigel Coutanche of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his assistance with the funeral arrangements. Sincere thanks to you all.

Deidre, Trevor, Nigel, Alison and Martyn.
