HENLEY, Stella

Stella’s full and happy life ended on Tuesday, 2 April, 2024. Beloved wife of Bill, mother of Ian, Lisa and Kris, grandmother of Todd, Lulu, Joss and Martha; Bill and Kris; and Benji and Isabella and great-grandmother of Billy and Joy.

Funeral Service

A service will be held at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, on Tuesday, 23 April at 2.30 pm.

Her many friends are warmly invited to the service, and to the celebration of her life afterwards.

HARRISON, Ian William

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Monday, 8 April, 2024, aged 81 years, beloved husband of 59 years to Terry, adored Dad to Tonya, Alex and Simon, father-in-law to Lee, Emily and Emma, proud Grandpa to Daniel and Jack, brother of Bryan and Gerald, brother-in-law to Bridget and Roy.

PESTANA, Rosemary (née Le Heuze) (Rose)

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Tuesday, 2 April, 2024, daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Le Heuze, sister of Annick, Ernest, Patricia, David, Christian and the late John and Patrick, Mum to Jamie, David and Susanne, mother-in-law to Lorna and P, Nan to Stuart, Dillon, Reese, Daniel, Kyle, Robyn, Josh, Corey, Lily, Ashton, Brooklyn, Nikita and Caiden, Great Nan to Eliana and sister-in-law and aunt to the wider family.

Rose was a force of nature, her larger than life personality, accepting of all and unwavering need for fairness meant she was a friend to many. She will be so sorely missed by us all.

Funeral Service

Family and friends wishing to celebrate Rose’s life are invited to St Thomas’s Church on Wednesday, 24 April at 12.30 pm.

A family cremation will follow and Rose’s final resting place will be with her parents, brothers and nephew.

The family ask that you mark the occasion with a splash of purple and please bring along any photos you have of Rose through the years to share with them.

Passed away suddenly at home on Friday, 22 March, 2024, a much-loved uncle who will be greatly missed but will always be remembered in our hearts. David’s spirit and talent lives on through the legacy of his music and wonderful paintings. Such a lovely man with a great sense of humour. We will miss the fun, the laughter and our weekly bacon and egg rolls.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 8 April, 2024, aged 86, surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Jean and adored father of Jacqueline, Karen and Alison, much respected father-in-law of Bryan, Mark and Adrian, loving Pops of Thomas, Matthieu, Claire, Harvey, Michael, Millie-Rose, Harry, Leanne, Sophie and Henry and cherished Poppa of Odin, Flynn and Alby. Will be deeply missed and always remembered by his loving family.
