TIPLADY, Jacqueline (“Jacky”) (née Powell)

Of Stratford, Ontario, Canada passed away peacefully on Friday, 26 August, 2016, surrounded by her family, after a short illness resulting from complications related to ongoing cancer treatments. Beloved wife and best friend of Ron Tiplady for 47 years, loving mother of Justin (Nadine), Garrick (Thecla) and Bryn (Oona), grandmother of Matthew, Meghan, Oscar, Atticus, Maeve, Lily and Callum, and loving aunt of Duncan Tiplady (Christa) and their son Harley. Jacky is predeceased by her parents, William (“Bill”) and Freda Powell.

AUDRAIN, Cecil Rimington (Sonny)

Son of Des and Gertrude, passed away peacefully in his home in Kennesaw, Georgia, USA, on Saturday, 27 August, 2016, after a long illness, loving husband of Bonnie and devoted father to David and Cathie and grandfather of Christina, Samantha, Paige, Alexandra and Austin. Donations, if desired, can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

JAMES, William Kenneth (Bill)

Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Jersey Hospice, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, 30 August, 2016, aged 70 years, after a long and painful illness borne with great courage and determination. A loving and dearly loved husband of Gill, father of Simon and Richard. He will be sadly missed by his family in Jersey, the UK, USA and Australia and also by his many friends and colleagues, especially the members of ‘The Curry Club’ and the Jersey Model Boat Club. MOURANT, Ruth (née Cabot)

Ruth’s family wish to thank the wonderful staff at L’Hermitage Care Centre for their care of Mum while it was her home and family and friends who visited her there. To Dr Nigel Minihane for his care and kindness over many years, also to Maillard’s Funeral Directors for their help with arrangements and Rev Graeme Halls for conducting the beautiful service that Mum had chosen.
