David and Patricia would like to thank all those who attended Margaret’s funeral, those who sent cards and letters of condolence and donations in her memory. Grateful thanks to the nursing care staff of Lakeside Care Home. Many thanks to Anthony Morling for the lovely service as well as the choir of Trinity Church and organist Nick Cabot. Thanks also to Gareth John and all the staff of Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professionalism and support, and to Bella Fiori for the beautiful floral tributes. Thanks to the Mayfair Hotel for the catering and the Parish of Trinity for the use of the Parish Hall and organising the Honorary Police.

COLE, Beryl Joyce (née Dole)

The family of the late Mrs Beryl Joyce Cole wish to express their heartfelt thanks to those who have offered such kindness, support and messages of sympathy and comfort in our bereavement. We especially wish to thank Ken at Maillard’s who delivered such professional support and advice and the Reverend Debbie Godefroy who conducted a beautiful funeral service. We would also like to thank Family Nursing & Home Care for helping Beryl over the past few years, Eyecan for their support and supplies for the partially sighted, the district nurses and Personal Touch Care Services. Finally, to Jersey Hospice for Mum’s end of life care and family doctor, Dr Bashforth. To those who attended Mum’s funeral and gave donations to either Jersey Hospice or Eyecan, thank you.

LAFFOLEY, Josephine

Beloved wife of the late Eddie Laffoley, died Tuesday, 5 July, 2016 in Ireland. Her cremation followed Requiem Mass. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest in a simple burial at 1 pm on Monday, 25 July, at the Crematorium, Westmount Road. Refreshments will follow in Trinity Arms.

DILLON, Terence Charles (Terry)

Terry lost his fight with ill health on Monday, 18 July, 2016, aged 55 years, loving husband of Karen, ‘Dad in a Million’ to Sam and Jake. A truly courageous and gentle man who was dearly-loved by many. Rest in peace, no more suffering, we love you xx. Funeral details to follow. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 17 July, 2016, in the tender care of Jersey Hospice, much-loved wife of Vernon, beloved Mum of Sarah and her husband Mark and devoted Granny to Kieran and Emily, loving sister to Tom, Mary, Muriel and John.
