Johanna and family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who sent cards and donations in memory of Mum. Thank you also for the kind words and support at Mum’s funeral, so graciously led by the Reverend Peter Dyson. A special thank you not only to all the wonderful staff who took care of Mum whilst she was at L’Hermitage Nursing Home, but also to Doctor Vincent and Doctor Cook for their care. Eileen would like to thank everyone who sympathised with her at the loss of her beloved Jack and for the phone calls, cards and flowers. Sincere thanks to those who attended Jack’s funeral, especially the ex-policemen who were in Jack’s diving team and firearms squad whose messages reflected the high regard and esteem with which he was held during his police career. Thank you to the nurses and care staff at L’Hermitage Care Home for your friendship and camaraderie during Jack’s stay and for the dedicated care you gave him during his last few weeks and for the sensitivity and compassion shown to me as well. My grateful thanks also to everyone who has sent donations in Jack’s memory to Parkinson’s Jersey.
