Passed peacefully away at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford on Thursday, 16 June, 2016, aged 79 years. Dearest companion of Maureen. Keith was a very highly loved and respected past employee of Ronez Quarry. He will be so sadly missed by Maureen and all who knew him. Funeral details to follow. SCHOFIELD, John Edward (Jack)
Eileen would like to thank everyone who sympathised with her at the loss of her beloved Jack and for the phone calls, cards and flowers. Sincere thanks to those who attended Jack’s funeral, especially the ex-policemen who were in Jack’s diving team and firearms squad whose messages reflected the high regard and esteem with which he was held during his police career. Thank you to the nurses and care staff at L’Hermitage Care Home for your friendship and camaraderie during Jack’s stay and for the dedicated care you gave him during his last few weeks and for the sensitivity and compassion shown to me as well. My grateful thanks also to everyone who has sent donations in Jack’s memory to Parkinson’s Jersey.
