AUBIN, Mai Frances (née Le Claire)

Wife of Fred, and mother of the late Fred Jnr and Chris, Mamon of Caitlin (Thomas) Aubin. Mai died on Tuesday, 6 August, 2024. Finally reunited with her dearly loved son Fred, in whom she was indeed well pleased.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Mai are invited to meet at St Thomas’s Church on Wednesday, 18 September at 12.15 pm.

Sylvia, Barbara and Helen would like to thank everyone who attended Tom’s funeral and all those who sent such wonderful cards and letters. Our warmest thanks also to Reverend Carolann Birnie for her kindness and beautiful service, to Linda Lowseck for playing for us and to Boyd and Katie Bennie for their help behind the scenes. We are grateful also to the singers who joined us. Lastly, our heartfelt appreciations to Shane and his colleagues at De Gruchy’s for making all the arrangements in such a sensitive and professional way.

BARETTE, Doreen Lilian (née Ahier)

Passed away very peacefully at the General Hospital, on Wednesday, 28 August, 2024, in her 96th year, devoted wife of the late Vernon, much-loved Mum of David and Michael, a very cherished mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and grandmother-in-law. She will be very much missed by all family and friends.

Funeral Service

The funeral will take place at St Helier Methodist Centre, St Helier on Wednesday, 25 September at 11.30 am, followed by a committal at 1pm.

WALSH, David John

Passed away, aged 76 years, on Sunday, 18 August, 2024. He will be greatly missed by all his family.

Passed away suddenly on Monday, 26 August, 2024 with her loving husband Mick and her two wonderful daughters Claire and Jodie by her side. She will be desperately missed by her family, especially her grandchildren, Jack, Joe, Harry and Ava, who she doted on.

A celebration of Gill’s life for family and friends will be held at the Jersey Crematorium on Friday, 20 September at 1 pm.
