Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 17 April, 2016, at the General Hospital, aged 91 years, now reunited with her beloved husband, Ken, loving mother of Susan, Janet and the late Colin. She will be sadly missed by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Veronica Filleul and family wish to thank all those who sent letters and cards of condolence and attended Don’s funeral. We also wish to thank Dr David Jackson for years of dedicated care and to Jersey Hospice Care for making his last few days so comfortable and stress free. Thank you also to Pitcher & Le Quesne, especially Paul Battrick MBE, and the Rev Philip Warren of St Lawrence Parish Church for conducting such a memorable service and Frank Walker OBE for the eulogy, the choir, Simone Garton for the lovely solo, Kenneth Francis the organist. Ffion of Bella Fiori for the beautiful flowers and Mary Moody for the floral decorations in church. A special thank you also to the crew of the Jersey Lifeboat for the scattering of his ashes and Channel Islands Air Search air crew for performing the fly past off Corbière on Saturday, 2 April.
