Passed peacefully away on Saturday, 12 March, 2016. Dear sister-in-law of June and Aunty to Robert, Margaret, Susan and Rory. Will remember all the good times. Rest in peace XXX.

STEVENS, Noelé Eileen

Noelé’s family would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them, sent messages of condolence and those who attended the service celebrating Noelé’s life. Sincere thanks to Monsignor Nicholas France for conducting the service, to Father David Quarmby for co-celebrating, special thanks to Aurélie Norman, the organist. Heartfelt thanks to the sisters and nursing staff at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, for caring for Noelé over the last six years. To Family Nursing who assisted in Noelé’s final days. Sincerest thanks to Dr John Howell and the partners at Indigo House, who cared for Noelé over the years. Finally to Paul Battrick, MBE at Pitcher & Le Quesne for the funeral arrangements.

A service of thanksgiving for the life and work of General Sir Peter Whiteley GCB OBE KStJ DL will be held at Exeter Cathedral, Exeter, EX1 1HS at 2 pm, on Friday, 6 May, 2016. Dress will be lounge suit or equivalent. A reception will be held afterwards in the Cathedral. SMITH, Malcolm Charles

Janine, Jeremy and Michelle wish to thank all of the family, friends, medical specialists and others who provided support during the ill health of Malcolm and then following his recent death. We particularly wish to express our appreciation to the staff at Bartlett Ward, General Hospital, the staff at Jersey Hospice, Dr Buist, Gary Tye at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care, Rev Christine Legge of the Methodist Church, Mike Stentiford and to all those who attended Malcolm’s funeral.
