Passed away peacefully in the care of Pinewood Care Home, on Monday, 6 May, 2024, aged 93 years, beloved wife to the late Kenneth, proud and much-loved Mum to the late Mike, Mum-in-law to Tracie and adored Nanny to Jack and Ben.

Funeral Service

Monique’s funeral service will take place on Friday, 31 May at 11.30 am in the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount.

MOON, Adele Ruby (née du Val)

It is with very great sadness that we announce the passing away of Adele on Saturday, 18 May, 2024, aged 88 years, with the excellent support of Jersey Hospice Care, dearly loved wife of Martin for 69 years, cherished mother of Susan, Derek, Mandy and Julie, respected mother-in-law of Paul, Cynthia, Richard and Antony, and loving Granny of Robert, Kevin, Jenna, Dionne, Natasha, Karl, Caitlin, Hayden and Michaela. She will be sorely missed by all her family and many friends.

Now in the eternal memory of her Heavenly Father, Jehovah, awaiting the resurrection on the paradise earth. John 5:28,29.

‘Do not be amazed at this but the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.’

Funeral Service

A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, 27 May at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Corbiere, St Brelade, JE3 8HN.

All family and friends are warmly invited to attend.

HENDRY, Sylvia Rose (née Pain)

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of L’Hermitage Care Home on Monday, 13 May, 2024, aged 93 years, beloved wife of 61 years to the late Geoffrey, much-loved mother to Janie and Marie, mother-in-law to Anthony and David, adored Nannie to Sarah, Daniel, Philip and Hanna, great-grandmother to Ava, Lucy and Harper. She will be greatly missed.

CALVER, Doreen

30.09.1932 – 06.05.2024.

Doreen passed away aged 91 years old in Sydney, Australia.

Survived by two daughters, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

VALLANCE, Paul Scott

Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Friday 10 May, 2024 in his 80th year, loving husband of Kathleen, adored father of Scott and Kim, grandfather to Sofia. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

After a short illness, John passed away peacefully, with his step-daughter at his side in the General Hospital on Sunday, 12, May, 2024 aged 82 years.

ALTON, Robert,

Mary, Barbara, Caroline and all the family would like to thank everyone who attended Robert’s funeral and also to thank those who sent cards and flowers. Heartfelt thanks to the staff on IPU at Jersey Hospice for the tender loving care they gave to Robert and Mary which will always be remembered. Special thanks to everyone at Maillards for their helpful and caring support and to Mark for reading the Eulogy which contained wonderful memories of Robert. Thank you to the Best Western Royal Hotel for the lovely room and buffet. Finally, thank you to everyone who kindly donated to the Jersey Hospice in Robert’s memory.

Terry and family wish to thank everyone who attended Ian’s funeral and those who sent kind messages and cards of condolence, they are a great comfort.
