Anne and family would like to thank everyone for the many cards, kind words and support following the loss of a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. To all who attended the funeral service and for the generous donations to the chosen charities. Heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Bill, the wonderful nurses from Family Nursing and Home Care, the exceptional staff on Sorel Ward and to Dr Kumar and Dr Richardson. Finally, thank you to Paul Battrick and staff at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their wonderful care, attention and sensitivity.

The Alliance Club. It is with great sadness that we have to inform our members of the passing of Terry (El Tel) Carré, past Club Treasurer and active member. Our thoughts are very much with his family at this sad time. Funeral is to be held at St Mary & St Peter’s Church, on Monday, 29February, at 10. 30 am followed by a wake at the Hotel Ambassadeur.

Rosemary and Julia would like to thank Palm Springs Nursing Home for all their care and attention to Mum in her last years and especially the last months of her life. To Dr Ince for his supportive and attentive care (before his retirement). To Father France for such a lovely mass at St Mary & St Peter’s Church and to Aurelie for playing the piano for us. To all who came to the funeral, sent cards and donations and expressed their sadness at our loss. Lastly, to De Gruchy’s Funeral Directors for all their help and kindness at this time.
