Harold would like to thank all those who extended condolence messages to him and his daughters Penelope and Emma, following the untimely death of his son and their brother Paul, AKA Guru Josh. He will be missed by all his family in Jersey and the UK. May he rest in peace.

TAYLOR, Roy

Roy’s family would like to thank all those who attended the funeral, those who sent floral tributes, letters and cards of condolence. A special thank you to Consultus, UK who provided 24-hour live-in care for our father and to All Care Jersey. They provided excellent care enabling our father to remain at home in his last year. To Julie Vibert-Jones for her care and support. To the staff on Plémont and Bartlett Wards who looked after our father in recent months and in his final hours. To Dr Parris who looked after our father so well over the years. To Ken and Joy and everyone at Maillard’s for their help with the arrangements for the funeral, for their skilful direction and kindness. Thank you to the pall-bearers who did such a professional job. Special thanks to Reverend Phil Warren for conducting such a wonderful service and to Sue Noble for the reading and her friendship. To the church congregation and particular thanks to Pauline Dutot and Roy Farrow. Finally to Victoria and her staff at St Laurent Public House for a warming reception following the funeral.

Died Wednesday, 6 January, 2016, while on holiday with his family in Sydney, husband of Kathy, father of Stuart, Lizzie and James. A celebration of his life will be held at St Aubin Methodist Church, the Bulwarks, St Aubin, on Wednesday 20 January at 2 pm. No flowers. RUDDICK, Elizabeth (Betty)

Died very peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, 5 January, 2016, in the loving care of Lakeside Care Home, a wonderful mother to Rosalind, Guy and the late Joanna, grandmother to Edward, Alistair, Abigail, Alex, Harry, Tim and Gabriella, great-grandmother to Annabel, Jack, Noah, Jessica, Oscar and Logan. She was such a wonderful and constant part in all our lives and will be missed so very much. Funeral ServiceRelatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Betty are invited to meet at St Brelade’s Parish Church, on Thursday, 14 January at noon, followed by interment at Cimetière des Quennevais. SCHILLACI, Lucio (Joe)

19. 05 1940 – 08. 01. 2016. After a long illness, borne with bravery and dignity, Lucio passed away peacefully at Palm Springs Nursing Home, on Friday, 8 January, 2016, aged 75 years. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Italy, London, France and Jersey, especially by his wife Maria, his children Patricia, Giuseppe, Christina and Elisabeth and grandchildren, Joshua and Melissa and not forgetting Minni.
