Joan’s family would like to thank friends for their support at such a sad time and all who attended her funeral. All those who sent messages of condolence and for donations to The Jehovah Witness West Congregation and Jersey Hospice. A special thank you to Joan’s neighbours and friends for their support and to the St Aubin’s community who were always so helpful to Joan. To Mick Jegou for conducting a wonderful service and for the support of all Joan’s friends in the Jehovah Witness congregation. The family would like to thank all who attended the funeral, sent cards, donations and floral tributes. Thanks to all the staff at Silver Springs Care Home for the wonderful care they gave and to Doctor Parris for his care and diligence throughout her time as his patient. Thanks also to everyone who attended her at home from Family Nursing throughout the years. Our thanks also go to Jeannine for doing all the catering and to Mary for reading the poem. Finally, we must give special thanks to Nigel Coutanche and the staff of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their help, kindness and professionalism in taking care of all arrangements along with Rev Liz Singleton for conducting the service.
