SCARPA, Audrey Lilian (née Mackie)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Palm Springs Care Home, on Wednesday, 18 November, 2015 aged 72 years, devoted wife of 43 years to Piero, much-loved Mum of Elisa, beloved daughter of Lilian. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Audrey are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier, on Wednesday, 25 November, at 1. 15 pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Audrey may be sent to Jersey Alzheimer’s Association, De Carteret House, Hilgrove Street, St Helier, JE2 4Sl. Sue would like to thank all the friends and relatives who sent cards, called and attended Mum’s funeral. To all who have sent donations in Mum’s memory to Hospice and the JSPCA. Lyn would like to say a big thank you to the dedicated staff at Palm Springs Nursing Home, for their wonderful care of Ron in his final weeks. What a superb bunch of people. My gratitude to Dr Gareth Hughes for his care of Ron throughout the years and also Family Nursing & Home Care for the short time they were with us. Many thanks to Aurelie for her beautiful singing and organ playing. To Captain Brian Nibbs for his eulogy, Louise for her reading and the lovely service at the Little Sisters Chapel. For the many cards and lovely sentiments I received, to all who came to the funeral and to family and friends for the help, hugs and many lifts over the last few weeks, my heartfelt thanks to you all. And finally, my appreciation to Nigel at de Gruchy’s for his guidance and support throughout a very sad time.

John, Marion, Martin and Julie would like to thank the many family and friends who attended Barbara’s funeral service. Our heartfelt thanks to Reverend Geoff Houghton for leading the service and giving us all so much comfort and support and to Dr Prince and the staff at the ICU at the General Hospital for the exceptional level of care for Barbara during her final few days.
