Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 31 October, 2015, aged 68 years. The light of our life shines on no more on the earth that we walk upon. It was turned off so suddenly, now that light is in the sky shining just as bright and looking down on us. A wonderful, kind and caring husband and father who will be deeply missed.

Lucy and the family thank those who supported Gill by visiting her and sending cards while she was in Pinewood, most especially the loving kindness of Sister Marie Louise. Thank you all for the messages of sympathy and for attending the funeral. Particular thanks go to Rev Jane Ilton for her kindness to Gill and for conducting the service with such sensitivity, Malcolm Whittell for his playing, members of the JIS who sang in support of the late Juliet, and Michael Talibard and Jane Wakeham for their excellent readings. Patricia, Carolyn, John and family would like to thank the many friends and relatives who attended David’s funeral and also everyone who sent cards of sympathy and messages of support. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at the General Hospital particularly the Cardiology Department for the medical treatment given to David over many years, to the Family Nursing and Home Care Team who attended to David at home, and to the Jersey Hospice Staff for their loving care of David in his last days.
