LEWIS, Margaret (née Le Vannais)

Aged 60 years, Margaret passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 16 December, 2025, at Jersey General Hospital, a much-loved wife to Chris, Mum to Jack and loving sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend to many people.

Funeral Service

The funeral service will be on Friday, 16 January, 2026, at 11.30 am at St John’s Church with a private burial to follow.

ETIENNE, Elizabeth (née Fry)

Stephen, Michael (who sadly passed away six weeks after Mum), Susan and Louise thank everyone who sent messages of condolence and cards and who attended the funeral at St Patrick’s Church and the celebration of our mother, Elizabeth’s life at Holme Grown. Elizabeth would have been delighted to know so many people attended. We would like to thank the staff at Lakeside Care Home who looked after Elizabeth so well for nearly five years. We also thank Barney, Simon and Maria from Maillards for their professionalism and kindness, Father Ambrose for the lovely service, organist Clive Cooper and the Funeral Choir for their beautiful singing. Finally, a big thank you to Laura and Holme Grown for the excellent buffet and very good service, Mum would have been impressed.

HICKLIN, Nance (née Rondel)

Aged 83 years, Nance passed away peacefully on Sunday, 21 December, 2025 at Cheval Roc Residential Home. A much-loved wife to David and mother to Andy and Sveta, Tim and Lou, and Grandma to George. Nance will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

BRITTON, Sylvia (née Garnier)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 28 December, 2025, in her 89th year. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

COOKE, Marion (née De Carteret)

Passed away on Monday, 22 December, 2025, aged 88 years. Adored Mum to Sarah, Christopher and Nicholas and cherished Gran to Elissa. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
