Passed peacefully away on Friday, 24 July, 2015, in Southampton, aged 80 years, beloved brother to Betty, brother-in law to Gwen, uncle to his nephew and nieces. Rest in peace.

Of Pinewood Residential Care Home, formerly La Ruette Park, Grouville, passed away very peacefully on Friday, 24 July, 2015 aged 87 years. Loving, loyal and caring Mum to Deirdre, Steve and Andy, a special Mum-in-law to Stewart, Ali and Tony and the most-loved and treasured Nanna to Marc, Chloe, Jessi and Becky. On Tuesday, 21 July, 2015, Dr Jane Machin, aged 82, daughter of Jenny and Reg Pallot of the former Trafalgar Bay Hotel, Gorey, sister of George and the late Reg, beloved wife for 51 years of Professor Ian Machin, much-loved mother of Jonathan, Raoul and the late Anna and Grandma of Noah, Madeleine and Léopold. Botanist and horticulturalist, taught for spells at Jersey College for Girls, South-West Essex College of Technology and Universities of Singapore, Dundee and St Andrews.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at Grouville Parish Church, on Monday, 3 August, at 11 a. m. Family flowers only please.
