Gill, the Noel and Huelin families would like to thank everyone who attended Richard’s funeral, the kind cards, messages and support from relatives, friends and acquaintances which brought comfort to us all. Thank you for all the donations to Bartlett Ward Patient Fund. We are grateful for the care given to Richard by all the staff of Jersey Health and Dr Geoffrey Hamilton. A special thank you to the dedicated caring staff of Bartlett Ward for looking after Richard so well during his long stay, he loved you all. Finally, thank you for the professional services of Steve de Ste Croix of Maillard’s for the funeral arrangements and the thoughtful service given by Reverend Debbie Godefroy. Now ‘at rest’ at Les Ormes Farm.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 8 August, 2015, in the loving care of Jersey Hospice, after a long battle with heart disease, aged 79 years, devoted husband of Patricia, dearly loved father of Carolyn and John, son-in-law Paddy and John’s partner Helen, grandfather of Chloe and Samuel and his wife Heather. Memories of your life and the countless times we enjoyed together will be forever in our thoughts, all our love.

Lyn would like to say a big thank you to the dedicated staff at Palm Springs Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Ron in his final weeks. What a superb bunch of people. My gratitude to Dr Gareth Hughes for his care of Ron throughout the years and also Family Nursing & Home Care for the short time they were with us. Many thanks to Aurelie for her beautiful singing and organ playing. To Captain Brian Nibbs for his eulogy, Louise for her reading and the lovely service at the Little Sisters Chapel. For the many cards and lovely sentiments I received, to all who came to the funeral and to family and friends for the help, hugs and many lifts over the last few weeks, my heartfelt thanks to you all.
