Emma, Mary and family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers and messages of condolence. Our thanks to all who attended Simon’s funeral service, Sue Noble for conducting it, the members of the Westerners Cricket Club who acted as pallbearers, St Peter’s Football Club who formed a guard of honour and Jon for his reading. Our grateful thanks to all who cared for Simon during his long illness, especially the staff in the Oncology Department and Sorel Ward at the General Hospital. Finally our thanks to ‘Woodside’ for their floral arrangement and to Lynsey Mallinson and all at Maillard’s Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism during this difficult time.

Alison, Harry and Tommy Gaughran wish to thank all their family and friends who have helped at this very difficult time. A special thanks to Gary, Bridget and family and sister Suzanne for their unconditional support, to all the staff and pupils from Le Rocquier School and extra special thanks to all the staff of St Helier House and Lynsey from Maillard’s for her compassion and professionalism. The family would like to thank everybody for their generosity.

Jenny, Geoff and family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, letters and emails and made calls offering sympathy and support. Thank you to all who attended the church service. Our grateful thanks to Rev Mark Bond for the lovely service, to Andy of Pitcher & Le Quesne for his guidance and to Kenneth Francis for playing the organ in the church. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Silver Springs Care Home who took care of Mum in her final months.
