Alan, Fiona and all the family would like to express their thanks to all who sent cards, messages and flowers. Thanks to all who attended Essie’s funeral, friends old and new, neighbours, former colleagues from Beaulieu and St George’s and members of the Jersey Petanque Club. We would also like to thank most sincerely Father Kevin Hoiles for conducting the funeral Mass with serenity and dignity. Thanks to the ‘Angels’, at the Renal Unit who looked after Mum during her dialysis and the staff at Plémont Ward who cared for her at different times over the past year. Also thanks go to the wonderful staff at St Ewold’s Care Home who showed so much care not only for Mum but to her friends and family who went to visit her. We would like to thank all Mum’s wonderful friends who visited her and comforted her during her short illness. A special thanks to all the staff at St Peter’s School, especially the Nursery Team, for all the support and care they have shown. Thank you to Phil and the staff of the Goose for providing a lovely buffet. Finally, we would like to thank Gary of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his help and thoughtfulness at this sad time.
