Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, 25 June, 2015, aged 80 years, adored Dad of Linda and John, much-loved Grandad to Bryan, Lee, Stacey and Elliott and very special great-Grandad to Preston, Alysha and Oliver. Will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. You always had a smile to share, Time to give, Time to care, Your memory we will treasure, Your laughter we will miss forever.

The family would like to thank all who attended the service, sent cards, flowers and donations to Hospice, St Ewolds and Age Concern in memory of Marie. Special thanks to Father Quarmby and the Little Sisters for the beautiful serene service, thanks to Kate for singing Ave Maria so beautifully, Abigail for the reading and Rose and Chris for the eulogy. Thanks to Dr Malachy Wilson for the special care, many thanks to St Ewolds and their wonderful team, Hospice nurses and Family Nursing for their prompt action in keeping Mum comfortable in her last two weeks. Passed away peacefully at home with her family around her and looking onto her beautiful garden, on Saturday, 27 June, 2015, after a long and determined battle aged 81 years, devoted wife of Tom, treasured Mum of Annette and Elaine, step-Mum to Brett, Imanol and the late Lee, Mum-in-law to Nigel, much-loved Grandma to Rory, Carl, Jack and Bradley, special sister to Mary.
