Passed away peacefully at Silver Springs Care Home, on Thursday, 11 June, 2015, wife of the late Leonard (Len), loving mother of Geoff and Jenny and devoted Nan to Paul and Claire. HERROD, Anne

A valued colleague and friend of Citizens Advice Bureau who is fondly remembered by us all. Anne served as our Chair for twelve years until 2011 and carried out her role in a calm yet effective manner. BRAIN, Terry

After a courageous battle, Terry passed very peacefully away at home, on Tuesday, 9 June, 2015, aged 78 years with his devoted family by his side, loving husband to Jan for 55 years, cherished Dad to Tana and Justine, and father-in-law to Mike and Stephen, beloved and treasured Bapsie to Josh, Lauren, Theo and Evie. Passed away peacefully on Friday, 12 June, 2015, in the devoted and loving respite care of St Ewold’s after a long and courageous battle against cancer, in her 89th year, wife of the late Ernest and will be sadly missed by her children, Annick, Ernest, Rosemary, Patricia, David, Christian and the late Patrick and John, also her daughter-in-law Mary, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our dear Mother now at peace and without pain, a legacy of love, strength and devotion she left to us all. May God hold her in His loving arms. Funeral details to follow. 5. 7. 1915 – 12. 6. 2015Passed away in the tender care of Les Hoûmets Care Home with her loving daughters at her side, on Friday, 12 June, 2015, in her hundreth year, much-loved mother of Sheila and Wendy, mother-in-law to David and Tony, an adored grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. CAMPBELL, Esther (Essie)

Alan, Fiona and all the family would like to express their thanks to all who sent cards, messages and flowers. Thanks to all who attended Essie’s funeral, friends old and new, neighbours, former colleagues from Beaulieu and St George’s and members of the Jersey Petanque Club. We would also like to thank most sincerely Father Kevin Hoiles for conducting the funeral Mass with serenity and dignity. Thanks to the ‘Angels’, at the Renal Unit who looked after Mum during her dialysis and the staff at Plémont Ward who cared for her at different times over the past year. Also thanks go to the wonderful staff at St Ewold’s Care Home who showed so much care not only for Mum but to her friends and family who went to visit her. We would like to thank all Mum’s wonderful friends who visited her and comforted her during her short illness. A special thanks to all the staff at St Peter’s School, especially the Nursery Team, for all the support and care they have shown. Thank you to Phil and the staff of the Goose for providing a lovely buffet. Finally, we would like to thank Gary of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his help and thoughtfulness at this sad time. Passed away suddenly on Friday, 12 June, 2015 aged 76 years, husband of the late Ann, loving Dad of Karen, Gary and the late Steve, father-in-law of Terry and Nicky and devoted Papa of Sophie, Sam, Jake and Ruby.
