How can we write on paper, The way we feel inside, The heartache and the emptiness, Since our treasured Mum has died. Our girls still talk about you, Each and every day, From bingo cards to apple pie, Memories we won’t let slip away. You gave us many things in life, Gifts both great and small, But most of all you gave us love, The greatest gift of all.
