TARR, Christine Olive

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 18 April, 2015, in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor, St Helier, where she had resided for the past 12 years and celebrated her 100th birthday last December, sister of the late Janet and Harold, aunt of Nigel, Chrys and Jane and great-aunt of Emma and Alexander. She will be dearly missed by her family and so many friends.

All those wishing to attend the Service of Thanksgiving are invited to meet at St Mark’s Church, on Wednesday, 29 April, at noon. A private interment will follow. Family flowers only. BROCKEN, Richard

We would like to thank every person who attended the celebration of Ritchie’s life, especially those who travelled from afar and the many who stood in rain to pay their respects. We were overwhelmed by the number of you in attendance and your presence was a great comfort to us – Ritchie would have been delighted. Thank you to you all for your kind words, cards, flowers, charitable donations and other gestures, we really appreciate it. A special thank you to Zara and Nick for your wonderful readings and to Jaime for your beautiful singing during the service. We appreciate all of those who made us teas, looked after our children, took care of business and delivered meals during our time of need, thank you.
