No words can adequately express our feelings of great sadness and loss at the passing of Fred. He was a wonderful gentleman, a true friend in every sense of the word and best mate and mentor to Pete for nearly 50 years. Rest in peace with Steve now, dear Fred. Our thoughts are with Betty, Mark and Chrissie at this terribly sad time.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 12 March, 2015, beloved husband of Evelyn, much-loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Gary, loved Papa of Christopher and Martin.

HOCQUARD, Clarence George

Alan, Ian, Michael, Carol and all their families would like to thank all those who attended Dad’s funeral, sent cards of condolence and shared their lovely memories of our wonderful Dad. Petty Officer in the Royal Navy and tough Normandy Veteran who fought to the end. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 14 March, 2015, aged 90 years, with Betty by his side, beloved husband of Betty and the greatest father to Mark and the late Stephen, the best and much-loved father-in-law of Chrissie and Jayne, special grandfather to Danielle and Gabriella.
