Consul of the Netherlands for over 30 years. You managed your responsibility with respect and enjoyed welcoming the Island’s Dutch community into your home every year to celebrate Queen’s Day. We will remember you with great affection. Our thoughts are with your family and friends. Namens alle Nederlanders in Jersey, hartelijk bedankt. Rust in vrede.

TROY, Dermot Kelly
Fay, Darren, Jacqui and their families would like to thank all those who attended Dermot’s funeral at St Patrick’s, your support at this time was a huge source of comfort. Thank you for the many cards, messages, letters, phone calls, flowers and offers of help. Every single message was read and valued by all of us. Thank you to Canon France for conducting a beautiful service, to the organist, choir and to Simon Millon for his wonderful rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art’ one of Dermot’s favourites. Thank you to Paul, Gareth and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their kindness and sensitivity at such a difficult time. Thank you to those who made a donation to Jersey Teenage Cancer Trust which was always Dermot’s favourite cause. Finally to family members who were a huge support in Tenerife when Dermot became ill and in Jersey in the days and weeks that followed. The family came together from France, Sweden, England and Jersey to support each other. Family was everything to Dermot and he would have been so proud God bless.
