Jacky, Joan, Bill and families would like to thank family and friends who attended Brian’s funeral, thank you for all the cards and donations made to the chosen charity, special thanks must go Dr Amar, Karen and the Respiratory Team and all the doctors and nurses on HDU and ICU and all the ambulance staff. Thank you to Revd Nicolas Freeland for such a caring service, thank you to Megan and Cate for the readings and to Cate for reading the tribute, thank you to Bernie, Sandy and all the staff at St Aubin’s Wine Bar for an excellent buffet, and final thanks to Lynsey and all the staff at Maillard’s for their kindness and help throughout.

Ann, Claire, Tim and Jon would like to thank all our family and friends who attended Derek’s celebration service in incredible numbers. We have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have clearly been inspired by Derek. Thanks to all those who sent wonderful cards and flowers, popped in and called us during this difficult time. Plus those who have donated to Jersey Hospice Care and the Jersey RNLI. Thanks to the A&E team and ambulance staff. Thanks also to Peter Fleury from Pallots (Florists) who supplied a beautiful flower arrangement. Thanks to Steve Purcell and staff from St Mary’s Country Inn for the warm welcome and condolences.
