LAISNEY, Denis

Very fondly remembered by his G4S work colleagues at Jersey Airport and Harbour, many of whom he trained. His affability and support will be sadly missed by all. Heartfelt sympathy to Audrey, Duncan, Julian and the family at this difficult time.

HARTLEY

On Tuesday, 13 January, 2015, David, aged 89 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Lincoln County Hospital, beloved husband of the late Norma and a much-loved father and grandfather.

The funeral service will take place at Sherwood Forest Crematorium, on Tuesday, 3 February, at noon. Donations in memory of David for the RAF Benevolent Fund or the British Heart Foundation may be sent to E Gill and Sons Ltd, 55 Albert Street, Newark, Notts, NG24 4BQ.

HAMMILL, Joe

Jean, Linda, John and family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers and messages of support following the loss of Joe. Special thanks to Liz Singleton for her touching service, Viv O’Gorman for her beautiful poem and all those who attended the funeral service. Royston, Kevin and Gloria wish to thank all family and friends who attended Mum’s funeral service and to those who sent cards of condolence, which were of great comfort. Thanks also for donations sent in Mum’s memory to the RNLI, to Reverend David Shaw for conducting such a lovely service and the choir for such beautiful singing. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Dr Ince and matron and staff of Clifton Nursing Home for all their loving care over the years. Special thanks to Doris Kergozou for all the kindness she has shown to Bernard and myself during Bernard’s illness day and night, I bless Doris for being with me when Bernard passed away.
