HIBBS, Mabel (née Mallett)

Passed away peacefully at Pinewood Residential Home on Friday, 12 January, 2024, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Snowy, loving mother to Suzie, Andrew, and the late Michael, and mother-in-law to Chantelle, Jackie and the late Derek, much-loved Granny and great-Granny. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

A private family funeral will take place.

KEMPSON, John Barrie

Passed away peacefully with his loving daughter by his side on Saturday, 6 January, 2024, aged 84 years, beloved husband of 58 years to Josie, much-loved father to Giselle, father-in-law to Charlie and Grandpa to Sid and Alf.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for John are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, 1 February at 11.30 am.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Les Hoûmets Residential Home on Monday, 8 January, 2024, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Robert, mother of Caroline and the late Anthony, mother-in-law to Karen and Gary, and grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sadly missed.

SOKRATI, Christina (née Agathangelou)

Christina passed away peacefully on Monday, 25 December, 2023, at Sandybrook Nursing Home, wife of the late Ioannis Evangeli Sokrati, mother of Andrew, Evangelos (Van) and Flora, grandmother of Jonathan, Nicholas, Yanulla, Christopher and Christine, great-grandmother of Abbie, Oliver, Eleanor, Leonardo, Nina, Yianis and Aerelia, and great-great-grandmother of Arthur.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Christina are invited to St Brelade’s Parish Church on Thursday, 25 January. The Devine Liturgy will start at 8 am with the funeral service starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at Cimetière des Quennevais, St Brelade.

Donations in lieu of flowers, in memory of Christina, may be sent to Dementia Jersey, Osprey House, 5-7 Old Street, St Helier, JE2 3RG.
