The family would like to thank relatives and friends for their kindness, sympathy and support following the loss of our dear Edward. Your cards, letters, emails and Telephone calls have been a great comfort and are much appreciated. Our grateful thanks to Paul Battrick of Pitcher & Le Quesne Funeral Directors for all the funeral arrangements, to Reverend Graeme Halls and Reverend Liz Singleton for leading a heart-warming service, in just the style Edward would have wanted, with strong Methodist hymn singing led by organist Ian Jeyes. Grateful thanks to the wonderful staff at Maison La Corderie for their care of Edward for 14 years and to all those who have sent donations to Ebenezer Chapel where Edward had been a member for 98 years. Thanks to you all.

Passed away peacefully after a long illness at Jersey Hospice on Monday, 8 December, 2014, aged 61 years, loving wife of Tommy, proud Mum of Danielle and much-loved Nan of Tom and Kiera-Leigh. Softly from the shadows, There came a gentle call, You closed your eyes, And went to sleep, You quietly left us all. Funeral details to follow.
