Evie, Christine, Peter, Stephen and their families, would like to thank all relatives, friends and former work colleagues for their sympathy and support at this time. Thank you to all those who sent cards, attended the funeral service or made donations to Jersey Hospice or the RNLI. Special thanks to Dr Mark Wilbourn for his care and attention and Rev Tracy Le C Bromley for her reassuring words and guidance. A big thank you to all the staff at Orchid Nursing Care, Jersey Hospice, the Limes, Family Nursing, Bartlett and Le Quesne Wards and the EAU Unit who all cared for Dad as his health failed. Thank you also to the Sun Bowls Club for the use of their pavilion. Lastly, thanks to Ken Browne and the staff at Maillard’s for their compassion and the funeral arrangements. Dad may be gone but he will be forever in our hearts and will live on in his children and grandchildren.
Maureen and family would like to thank everyone who attended Mike’s funeral and to all who sent cards, letters and made donations. A special thank you to Mr Jim Allardice, Mr Jamali, Dr Amanda Jones, the Oncology team, A&E Department and Drs’ Higgins and Winspear for all their care over the 8 years of Mike’s illness. Thanks also to Paul Battrick at Pitcher & Le Quesne, for all his help and support. Mark Howe for the beautiful flowers, the Reverend Canon Dr Gavin Ashenden for leading the lovely service, Lawrence Carter and Jan Huet for their memories, Alan Mollet for playing the organ and St Helier Yacht Club for the refreshments. Mike will be sorely missed but, God willing, is at peace and free from pain.
