Passed away suddenly on Sunday, 2 November, 2014, aged 59 years, loved son of Denise and the late Ray, loved stepfather of Ronnie, loved brother of Marion and Sue, brother-in-law of John and Rob, uncle to Lisa and Ian and great-uncle to Katie and Lia, loved nephew of Valerie. Passed away at home in Spain after a short illness, on Tuesday, 28 October, 2014. Much loved by Geraldine, Michael, Simon, Emma and Matthew. Private cremation took place in Spain.

Hilary, Gemma and Amy would like to thank all friends, work colleagues and the staff and students at Jersey College for Girls for all their cards and kind messages sent during Colin’s recent illness. Thanks also to the doctors at Cleveland Clinic, the hospital doctors and the staff on Corbière Ward. Special thanks to Dr Bailhache and the wonderful staff, especially Carol, at Jersey Hospice for their devoted care of Colin and support for us through a very difficult time. Passed peacefully away, aged 76 years, on Monday, 27 October, 2014, in Southampton Hospital after a short illness. Will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters and their families. RIP. God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around you, And whispered ‘come to me’. With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away, Although we loved you dearly, We couldn’t make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, And God knew you needed rest, So he broke our hearts to show us, He only takes the best. Reunited with our Dad and baby Dawn.

FIELD, Frances Aimée
On Friday, 31 October, 2014, in the loving care of the sisters and carers of Jeanne Jugan Residence, Frances, aged 102 years, passed peacefully into the fuller presence of Jesus. She had loved and served Him for more than 80 years. Now united with her husband Alan. She will be greatly missed by her son Michael and daughter-in-law Patricia and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. We thank God for every way in which she enriched our lives.
