Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Friday, 4 October, 2024, in his 89th year, loving husband to Marlene for 32 years, dearly loved father, step-father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Family and friends wishing to attend Roy’s funeral service are invited to the Jersey Baptist Church, Vauxhall Street on Tuesday, 22 October at 1 pm.

By request, no mourning clothes to be worn.

BAUDIN, Anthony Francis (Tony)

The President and members past and present of St John Football Club would like to send their condolences to Maureen, Alan, Lynne, Martin and their families following the sad loss of Tony. Tony served the club for 66 years and was a much-loved Honorary Life President.

Past and Present members of the club are invited to attend the funeral service at St Johns Parish Church on Monday, 21 October at 11.30 am and participate in the Guard of Honour at the conclusion.

Passed Friday, 6 September, 2024, aged 71 years.

A celebration of Hughie’s memory will be held at New Park Hotel, Cheapside on Saturday, 19 October at 2 pm.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 1 October, 2024 at Lakeside Manor, in his 93rd year, beloved father to Fiona, Paula and Ray and grandfather to Stephen and Cerys.

POIGNAND, Alan Francis

Kathleen, Richard and Alison would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended Alan’s funeral. Thank you for all the cards, flowers, phone calls and text messages, they were a great comfort during this difficult time. Grateful thanks to Rev Beverley Sproats for conducting such a warm and compassionate service at St John’s Church and to Alan Mollet for his wonderful organ playing. We thank Constable Andy Jehan for allowing us the use of the Parish Hall for Alan’s wake and the Honorary Police for their assistance on the day of the funeral. Thank you to Harpers Catering for the excellent selection of food and drinks and for their highly professional service. We are enormously grateful to Cherie Le Maistre at Pitcher & Le Quesne for her endless patience in arranging Alan’s funeral so sensitively and seamlessly. To those who sent donations to Jersey Hospice we are most thankful. Alan would have been very pleased with his send off. We appreciate that so many family and friends attended. This was just what he wanted.
