PINEL, Valerie Joan (née Goaziou)

Bunny and family would like to sincerely thank all family, friends and neighbours who attended the recent funeral service for Valerie. Many thanks to Deacon Tony Ward who conducted a beautiful and comforting service. Also to Steve Hayes and staff at the Hotel Cristina for their warm hospitality. We are also grateful to Ken Browne and colleagues at Maillard’s Funerals for their professional help, guidance and support throughout this difficult time. Sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the General Hospital who battled to help Valerie through her illness. The care, kindness and dedication shown to her will never be forgotten. Heartfelt thanks, too, to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Jersey Hospice for the outstanding care and compassion shown to Valerie and her family during her final days. We truly appreciate all the cards, letters and flowers sent with kind and uplifting messages of condolence. All donations to Jersey Hospice in Valerie’s memory are gratefully received.

Passed away after a short illness in the care of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, on Sunday, 3 August, 2014, beloved husband of Maureen, much-loved father of Julia and her husband Richard, adored stepfather of Elaine and her husband Stephen, Claire and her husband Dale, devoted Grandad of Tim, Alex and Camilla. Passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, 22 July, 2014, with his family around him, at L’Hermitage Care Home. A private funeral has been held.

O’REGAN, Margaret Mary (née Chatterley)

04. 08. 37-31. 7. 14. Beloved eldest daughter of the late Chad and Betty Chatterley, wonderful big sister of Kathleen, Fred, Denis, Alan, Jean and Ian, loving sister-in-law of Frank, Ron, Tina and Loretta, aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed, now at peace. RIP, God bless.
