Nicola and family have been overwhelmed by all the cards and kind messages, a huge thank you to everyone. Thank you too, to everyone who was able to attend the thanksgiving service – a wonderful send off as Ray went to be with his Lord. Special thanks to Dr Philippa Venn for her many years of exceptional care for Ray, to the Reverend Canon Paul Brooks, and to Alicia and her team at Maillards.

Died Sunday, 21 January, 2024, brother of Jack, brother-in-law of Gretta and uncle of Kerry, John, Laura and Amy and their families.

BRIDAL, Maria

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, 23 January, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. Loving twin sister to Kathy, mother/auntie to Katie, Myles, Ori, Lydia, Blake, Olivia, Fran, Rob and Josh, and devoted Grandma to Obie, Charlotte, Delilah, Marley and Bella. She will be missed deeply by all her family and friends.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Maria are more than welcome to come and help us celebrate her life at St Thomas Church on Friday, 23 February at 11 am.

Dress code by Maria’s request is black glamour.

A massive thank you to those who cared for Maria over the last five years, especially Friends of Oncology, Jersey Hospice and Family Nursing.

LAZENBURY, Jack

Passed away on Thursday, 4 January, 2024, aged 75 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him both here and in the UK.

WALKER, Violet (née Hancock)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, 24 January, 2024, aged 83 years, loving wife of the late Jimmy, devoted Mum to Julie, Kevin and Donna, an inspirational Nan to Sebastian, Charlie, Ricky and Elliot. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Aged 80 years, Sylvia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 24 January, 2024, at Le Petit Bosquet. Much-loved mother to Tara and grandmother to Georgia. Sylvia will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
