Fiona’s fiancé Paul and her family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service at Grouville Parish Church and all those who sent kind words of condolence. A special thanks to the Rev Mark Bond for a lovely service, to Gary Tye and all the staff of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their professionalism and tender support, to Jackie at Rondels for the beautiful flowers and to Fiona’s friend, Alesha, for her great kindness and way with words. Also, our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Overton, the many hospital staff, family nursing and paramedics who cared for Fiona with such kindness on so many occasions. Lastly, thanks to the staff of the Dolphin, Gorey, where Fiona and Paul spend so many good times together, for helping us to celebrate her life.

Passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, 21 May, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, after a brave fight with cancer, a wonderful wife to Peter, much-loved and cherished mother to Dawn and Grandma of Alistair. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
