LE CONTE, Pauline

John, Paul and family would like to thank all the relatives and friends who sent cards and messages of condolence. Our thanks also to those who attended the funeral service and for donations made to Jersey Hospice Care in Pauline’s memory. A special thank you to The Reverend David Grantham for taking such good care of Pauline and all of us during the funeral service and for his thoughtful words. Also to organist Ian MacFeeters and the members of the St John Fellowship who provided the Guard of Honour. Grateful thanks to all the many medical professionals, especially Dr Penny Le Bas. We are grateful for the support and kindness of the carers who helped Pauline remain at home for so long and latterly the staff of Lakeside Care Home. And thanks to Andy Errington-Rennell of Pitcher & Le Quesne for his support.

MATHEW, Glenn

Rosie, Luc and the Mathew family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sent cards, letters and flowers, and those who donated to Parkinson’s Jersey in Glenn’s memory. All those who attended the funeral service (we’ve never seen the Crematorium so packed!) and all those who joined us to celebrate Glenn’s life at the wake afterwards. Special thanks to Reverend Tracy Bromley for a lovely and very personal service, to organist Graham Caldbeck, and to Andy Errington-Rennell of Pitcher & Le Quesne for his comforting and sensitive support. Glenn’s wish was for a joyful celebration of his life – no tears by request. Well, thank you to everybody who helped make that happen. He would have been overwhelmed!
