Malcolm, Jean and the family would like to thank all the relatives and friends who attended Louis’ Thanksgiving Service to celebrate his 91 years of life. Malcolm would like to thank all those who sent cards, emails, letters and text messages of sympathy. Special thanks must go to Dr Rhys Perkins for his medical care to Louis over some 35 years. A very special thanks to the Conntable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, Ann McLean and all the wonderful staff, too numerous to mention, at St Ewolds Residential Care Home for how they have all looked after both Louis and Muriel since 2005. To the Reverend Martyn Shea for conducting such a memorable and moving service. To Joan Streets and Paul Battrick MBE, for their readings. Special thanks to Clive Cooper, for playing the organ and contributing to the music, the Funeral Choir for all their support over the past months and for their singing on the day. To Nigel Crespel, for singing so beautifully the Pie Jesu. A very big thank you to the Royal British Legion and to Laurie Mould for the standard-bearing duties and carrying the Royal Artillery Flag, which would have meant so much to Dad.
