CORBETT, Avril

To my best friend and special Godmother, Avril Corbett, who passed away very peacefully in her sleep, aged 45, on Monday 30 December, 2013. Words cannot describe the pain or void you have left behind. We love you so very much.

JONES, Heather (née Braid)

Our beautiful wife and mother was so cruelly taken from us on 5 January, 2012. Shug – I just can’t find the right words to express how much I miss you. Nothing at all is, or ever will be the same. I miss your warmth, your smile, your guidance and your strength and you are forever in my heart and thoughts. Everywhere we go brings back memories of you and although I try to think of the good times, the pain of not being able to share these things with you again are so overwhelming. You would be so immensely proud of our wonderful children Ryan and Meg, who are a great credit to you and to all the love and guidance you gave to them. They miss their ‘best friend’ so much and the best Mum in the world, but the love and support given by family and friends is helping to ease the pain. I love you forever and always.

Your heartbroken husband Mark xx. Mum, we love you and miss you so much.

Ryan xx and Meg xx.

DEVON, Walter John

Our lovely eldest son, would be sixty today. I want the memory of me to be a happy one, I want to leave an afterglow of smiles now that life is done, I want to leave an echo, Whispering gently down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times on bright and sunny days. I want the tears of those who grieved dried before the dawn, Of happy memories that I leave now that I am gone. Have a lovely birthday Wal with our Peter, John and Jimmy. You’re never more than a thought away, With all our love on your special day.

From Mum, Dad and all your loving family in Jersey.
