PETRA, Doris May (Janie) (née Hannaford)

Chris, Jackie and Sophia would like to thank all those who attended Janie’s funeral service and everyone for their support and condolences at this sad time. We are very grateful to the Rev Maureen Turner who conducted the lovely service and to Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professionalism with the funeral arrangements. Extra special thanks go to the staff at Mckinstry Oak Ward for their excellent care of Janie and support throughout.

BRATCH, Margaret Rose

The Bratch family thank all those who attended Margaret’s funeral, sent cards or sent other messages of sympathy. Special thanks go to the staff at The Limes who together with the staff at Maison St Brelade cared for Margaret during her years of suffering from Parkinson’s. We urge any further donations in Margaret’s memory be made to the Jersey Parkinson’s Society to help cope with the effects of this debilitating disease. Thanks also to Christine Legge for conducting the funeral service as well as to the professional help from Ken Browne of Maillard’s Funeral Directors.

BUESNEL, Fay Ann

Dave, Mary and Neil would like to thank everyone who came to Fay’s funeral, those who sent cards and flowers and all donations sent to Jersey Hospice and Family Nursing and Home Care. With the care, compassion and help of those two charities, Fay was able to return home. Many thanks to the Oncology Team and Jersey Cancer Relief. Thanks to reverend Geoff Houghton, Nick Cabot and Trinity Choir for their contribution to a beautiful service, and Jimmy McGovern for a fitting finale. Our thanks to Hazel and team at the Farmhouse who looked after everyone so well at the wake. Thanks to Paul Battrick and his team at Pitcher & Le Quesne who professionally handled all the arrangements with compassion and dignity. Finally, our thanks to family, friends and colleagues who continue to support us through this difficult time.

CURTIN, Mary Bernadette (Bernie)

We, the family of Bernie, would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who showed kindness during her illness and who supported and sympathised with us in many ways on our sad loss of Bernie. A special thank you to Deacon Tony for receiving Bernie into St Martin’s Catholic Church. To Father Kevin and Father Janusz for making the Funeral Mass a true and meaningful celebration of her life. To Aurelie for providing the music and to all who attended Bernie’s funeral. We wish to thank medical personnel, especially Shirley and Family Nursing, Dr N Bailhache, Hospice In-Patient Unit staff and Hospice Day Care staff who looked after Bernie so well. Our sincere thanks to Elaine, Ruth, Joan and Denise and team, you know who you are, and to Jon of Mercury. Our gratitude to Nigel and De Gruchy’s for their professional and caring help and to the people who prepared Bernie’s final resting place. Thank you to all who have made donations to our nominated charities. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and thanks. LE GUELLEC, Pierrette (née Stefan)
