Died peacefully at home on Thursday, 31 October, 2013, in her 91st year, dearly loved companion of Peter Utley and beloved aunt of Maureen Green, Jean Barlow, Laurette Brennan, Peter Hanning, David Woodsford, Pat Woodsford and Julie Riley.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Clara are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier, on Wednesday, 13 November at 10. 45 a. m. Norma and Steven would like to thank family and friends who sent cards, flowers, letters and attended the funeral service. We were overwhelmed to see so many people at the funeral and much comfort is gained from knowing Basil was much respected. Thanks also to Basil’s doctor, Dr Bob Hurst and consultants Mr J Allardice and Dr M Duku for their care and support during his illness, also Jersey Hospice nurses, especially Imelda and Michelle and Family Nursing for their care and kindness. We are also grateful to Nigel Coutanche of De Gruchy’s for his professionalism throughout and Rev Jones for conducting the funeral service. A special thank you to dear friends Wendy and Tony for their support and help throughout and our appreciation to everyone who made donations to Jersey Hospice in Basil’s memory.

Simonne and family wish to thank all who sent emails, phone calls and cards of condolence on the death of Graeme. Special thanks to our daughter Rosemary for sorting all the legalities etc. Thank you to his former colleagues of the Airport Fire Service, to my own former nursing colleagues and friends. Also to my good neighbours Barbara and Mary for all their help and comfort. Thank you to the Reverend David Jones for the service. To my brother-in-law Peter, my brother John for the readings, Rosemary for the eulogy, to Evelyn and Fatima of the Aero Club for the buffet. Special thanks to Sarah of Maillard’s for organising the funeral with such good compassion. Finally, heartfelt thank you to our GP Dr Michael Bellamy for all his care and attention to Graeme over the years. Thank you all.
