HELLIO, Henriette Adrienne (née Gouédard)

Passed peacefully away in the loving care of The Little Sisters of the Poor, on Wednesday, 23 October, 2013, aged 88 years, loving wife of Francis, cherished mother of Didier, much-loved mother-in-law of Christine and devoted Granny of Melissa, Natalie and Matthew. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

AVEIRO, Gloria

Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Ana (deceased) and Jose Castro, treasured Aunty of Susanna and Robert Lanzilli, Jason and Lori Castro, great-aunt of Michael and Joshua Lanzilli, and Dana Castro. Will be so sadly missed, we have so many beautiful memories of happier days spent with lovely Gloria. We give our utmost and sincere condolences to Tony, Alberto and Danielle, Miguel, Natalya, Aimée and Jenson. Our only comfort is we know she has been welcomed with a beautiful smile by her loved older sister, Ana Maria into God’s heaven. May she rest in peace.

Also my husband Albert (Toddy) Todd who passed away 29 October, 1984.

STEPHAN, Suzanne

25. 10. 1960 – 30. 9. 2013. Bill, Monique, Michael and Anthony would like to thank everyone who attended Suzanne’s funeral service – we were overwhelmed to see so many people there. We would also like to thank the many people who sent beautiful cards and letters of condolence, and flowers, which have all been a great comfort, and everyone who made donations to Family Nursing & Home Care in Suzanne’s memory. Thanks to Dr Overton and to the staff at the Clinical Investigations Department for their care over the years, and to Jill and Julie at Family Nursing & Home Care, and staff at Jersey Hospice Care for their recent support and care. We are also very grateful to Monsignor Nicholas France and Deacon Iain for the beautiful service at St Thomas’ Church, and to Gary Tye at De Gruchy for his support and professionalism at this sad time.

BROWNE, Tim

Tim’s wife Marie, daughter Tracy and sisters, Betty, Mary and Bridget thank Deacon Iain MacFirbhisigh for Tim’s moving funeral service at St Thomas’ Church, where a great number of Tim’s family and friends had gathered. To his dear friend Linda, his nieces Yasmin, Lisa, Rita and Athena and nephews Rino, Yan, John and Marco all of whom were absolutely wonderful in their care of uncle Tim. To american niece Norma and son Seamus who spent a week with him in August, to nephew Pat, also an american who did a lovely reading at the funeral service, niece Peggy and nephew John who kept in constant contact. To Marie’s sister Mecca who has been a tower of love and strength to her and Tracy. To his life-long friends Brion, who had Tim to dinner every weekend when they enjoyed great chats about football and Peter who composed and read at the service an emotive and lovely account of Tim. To John and Dave, his friends from Exeter Uni who visited him in hospital in the UK, our lovely neighbours Jennifer and John, his house friends Kevin, Louise and Sherwin and his many friends in the First Tower area, all of whom kept an eye on him in the months leading to his passing, to one and all we offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation of their kindness. To De Gruchy’s Funeral Care we say a very big thank you in particular to Nigel and Gary for both their kind and professional handling of arrangements. A special thank you to the staff at Clarkson House Hospice for their expert and very kind care of Tim in his last few weeks and we are grateful to those who have made donations in his memory to this most deserving group.
