MELVILLE, David Logan (Jnr)

Passed away peacefully on Plmont Ward, on Thursday, 17 October, after a short illness, a much-loved brother and uncle who will always be in our hearts, a loving ‘Uncle Fester’ to his great-nephews and nieces, such a humble and lovely man.

OXLEY, Peggy Frances Earle (née Thomas)

The family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service, sent cards of condolence and made donations to Variety-Tent 52 in lieu of flowers. Special thanks to those who made the trip from England to farewell Peggy. Many thanks to Dr Ince and all the wonderful nurses at the General Hospital and particularly to the dedicated nursing staff of the Jersey Hospice who cared for Peggy in the last week of her life. To the Rev David Jones who conducted the service and to Maillard’s Funeral Directors, thank you for all your help and support.

KNIGHT, Peter Graham

Died in hospital after a long illness on Thursday, 10 October, 2013. Career-long engineer, veteran car enthusiast and service in the Royal Air Force and the Royal Engineers. Will be sadly missed by his wife Maureen, his beloved ‘Mo’, and his daughters Lydia and Sandra and step-children Nick and Kate. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, 28 October, at 2 p. m. , at Down St Mary, Crediton, Devon. No flowers please.
