Ray’s family would like to thank all relatives, friends and colleagues for their support since the sad loss of Ray. For the many who attended Ray’s funeral, we were deeply moved by the sheer number of people who attended and have taken lots of comfort from the many memory cards completed. For the many cards, texts and phone calls and to those who made generous donations to the Hospice, the very special place where we are so grateful Ray spent his last days cared for by such wonderful staff. To Bernie and friends at the Wine Bar for providing the lovely buffet. Rev Iain MacFirbhisigh for his support, sincere words of comfort and for leading such a lovely service. To Paul and all the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their help with the funeral arrangements, allowing us to fulfil all of Ray’s final wishes. Knowing Ray as we did, he would have been deeply touched and we will all miss him greatly. Our heartfelt sincere thanks to you all.
