Janet, Susan, Robert and Vince would like to thank relatives and friends who came to the funeral and to all those who sent lovely cards and messages, they were very much appreciated. Our heartfelt thanks to Clarkson House, where Owen was looked after with tender loving care and to the nurses who helped us at home, especially Sandy who was a great support. Many thanks to Alicia Freitas for the service as we wanted and Pitcher & Le Quesne for the funeral arrangements. Also our thanks to those who have sent donations to our chosen charities.

Olive’s family wish to thank her friends and many others for the sincere messages of sympathy received in the sad loss of a dear cousin and aunt. Also our thanks for the loving flowers and donations in Olive’s memory. Our gratitude to Reverend Judith Davy for a lovely service and to Pitcher & Le Quesne for their help and professionalism. Special thanks from June to Neville, John, Elinor, Pat (D), Jeannie and Margaret for all the help and support they gave to Olive. Please accept this as our only but very sincere acknowledgement to you all.

Max’s family would like to thank all those who attended the funeral service, who called, sent letters and cards and sent donations to Cancer Research UK. A very special thanks to Father Don Clements for such a thoughtful funeral service and to Sarah and the staff at Maillard’s for their kindness and support. A special thanks goes to Sister Bridget and the staff of the Little Sisters of the Poor for their care, understanding and compassion and also to the doctors and nursing staff at the General Hospital for their help and professionalism. We would also like to thank the Family Nursing & Home Care team, the staff at the Greenhills Country Hotel and last but by no means least Max’s kind and generous neighbours whose care and support was invaluable during the last couple of years that he was at home.

Anton’s family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service, Telephoned and sent flowers, cards, letters and emails. We were overwhelmed by the attendance at the Crematorium and the messages of condolence from friends and business associates in Jersey, UK, Europe, America and Australia, much comfort is gained from knowing how much Anton was respected. To the generous people who donated to our chosen charities, Jersey Cheshire Home, FN&HC and the MS Society, to Deacon Iain for leading the service with kindness and sympathy. To Frederick Benest for the heartfelt eulogy, to Nigel at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his guidance and support. To the dedicated team at HDU at the General Hospital and Anton’s GP Dr Innes Cameron. To all at Ormer Restaurant for receiving us with compassion after the funeral service. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
