COOK, Olive

Olive’s family wish to thank her friends and many others for the sincere messages of sympathy received in the sad loss of a dear cousin and aunt. KEEPING, Maxwell Ernest

Max’s family would like to thank all those who attended the funeral service, who called, sent letters and cards and sent donations to Cancer Research UK. A very special thanks to Father Don Clements for such a thoughtful funeral service and to Sarah and the staff at Maillard’s for their kindness and support. A special thanks goes to Sister Bridget and the staff of the Little Sisters of the Poor for their care, understanding and compassion and also to the doctors and nursing staff at the General Hospital for their help and professionalism. We would also like to thank the Family Nursing & Home Care team, the staff at the Greenhills Country Hotel and last but by no means least Max’s kind and generous neighbours whose care and support was invaluable during the last couple of years that he was at home.

LE MAINS, Anna Rosa (née Deffains)

Passed away in her 106th year on Tuesday, 20 August, 2013, in the presence of her family and in the caring hands of the Little Sisters, wife of the late John (Jack) Rene Le Mains, much-loved mother of Terry and Eileen, mother-in-law of Joan and Paul, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful mother who will be sadly missed.

We were overwhelmed by the attendance at the Crematorium and the messages of condolence from friends and business associates in Jersey, UK, Europe, America and Australia, much comfort is gained from knowing how much Anton was respected. To the generous people who donated to our chosen charities, Jersey Cheshire Home, FN&HC and the MS Society, to Deacon Iain for leading the service with kindness and sympathy.
