Sarah, Scott, Abbie and family would like to thank all those who attended the funeral service, who called, sent letters, cards and flowers and also all those who sent donations to Jersey Hospice and the RNLI following the loss of their beloved David. Special thanks to Mel and Stephen Scoulding for the gracious way they conducted the very meaningful funeral service. STARCK, Alfred Dorey (Fred)
Born 25 June, 1921, St Saviour, Jersey, passed away peacefully in Beaminster, Dorset on Monday, 5 August, 2013, aged 92 years, at home with his family by his side, dearly beloved husband of the late Irene (Reneé ), and much-loved father of Geraldine and Sylvia, treasured grandfather to Sarah, Emma, Oliver and Thomas and great-grandfather to Jade. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends in England and Jersey.
Relatives and friends wishing to attend Fred’s funeral service are invited to meet at St Saviour’s Parish Church, on Tuesday, 20 August, at 11. 30 a. m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
