Sally’s family would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them during their recent sad loss. To all those who sent cards and messages of condolence, all who made donations to Redwings in honour of such a truly wonderful person and all who attended the funeral service. Sincere gratitude to those who tried so valiantly to save Sally and to the Ambulance Service and staff at the A&E department who were sensitive and compassionate at a time of great shock and sadness. Thank you to Reverend Mike Taylor for conducting such a lovely service and finally to Sarah and the staff of Maillard’s for their professional help and guidance in arranging the funeral service.

Passed peacefully away at Clarkson House, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, 23 May, 2013, aged 79 years, loving mother of Vini and Martin, and much-loved grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
