Many thanks to Corbire and Bartlett Wards for their care following her stroke, also Sandybrook where Mum spent her last four weeks. Special thanks must also go to the district nurses and carers who attended Mum, and her GP of many years Dr Ben Rogers. Thanks to all the family and friends who visited Mum both at home and in hospital. Thanks to Alan Mollet for playing the organ, the choir for leading the singing and Lay Minister Helen Gunton for conducting the service. Finally, thanks to Ken Browne of Maillard’s for arranging the funeral in a sensitive manner.

PAGETT, Steve

Pat, Scott and Ing would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported them on the recent and sad loss of Steve. Very special mention to both families who not only travelled to Jersey for the funeral but constantly held our hands whilst Steve was in ICU in London. Whilst impossible to thank everyone individually who sent cards, flowers, letters of sympathy, and attended Steve’s funeral, my heartfelt appreciation goes to the following, Dr Chris Mattock and Sister Mags, Jersey Oncology for their dedication over the years. Jersey Electricity for their support over the years and whose attendance at the funeral was testament to a man they not only respected but deeply cared for. Paul Mee, Susan Jubb, Julie Jubb, Steve’s niece Nicola, dear Annie Kent and Mags Murray, Kenny McCarter, John Cosgrove and Ritchie Brocken for their support and compassion. Reverend Jones for the wonderful service, in celebration of a life so full of a man who was dearly loved. St Clement’s Golf Club for Steve’s wonderful send off, a beautiful sunny day looking down the 18th, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sarah Aubert and her colleagues at Maillard’s for their compassion and guidance throughout, including Sarah’s tireless efforts in getting Steve back home to Jersey. We have 30 wonderful years of precious memories and he will live in our hearts forever. Sleep now ‘Roadrunner’, it’s time to rest.
